Machined Connectors

Berylco 33-25 alloy has superior machinability for high speed screw machine applications. Cylindrical connectors, screw machine type IC sockets and contacts for IC testers are made from this alloy.

Oil Patch Energy Exploration

Berylco 25 has good resistance to galling, high strength, high fatigue strength, non-magnetic property and good corrosion resistance. Ideal material for drill string applications: drill collars, saver subs, wire line, sheathing, etc.

Bushings

Berylco 25 has good wear, resistance to galling and high strength. Therefore, it's excellent for bushings for aircraft, drilling and machine tool industry.

Welding Equipment Components

Because of high strength and high conductivity, BeCu Alloys are suitable for resistance welding equipment such as electrodes, shanks, etc.

Undersea Communication Equipment

Berylco alloys have excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. These alloys have been used for undersea communication cable housings for many years.

The signals of undersea optical fiber communication cables used for international telephone transmission have been weakened as the signals go forward. In order to re-strengthen the signals, the repeaters are placed at certain intervals.

The beryllium-copper is applied as the material of the repeater housing, which requires severe properties, such as corrosion-resistance against seawater and high-strength.

Molds

Berylco alloys marked under tooling grade tempers are an excellent choice for plastic injection molding and continuous casting metals because of their high strength, high conductivity and wear resistance.
